CertifiedMailFast.com ("we," "us," or "our") provides automated physical mail services. This policy describes how we handle personal information across the United States, including compliance with the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), the Oregon Consumer Privacy Act (OCPA), and other state-level privacy frameworks.

1. Security & Encryption Specs:

We implement a "Security-First" architecture. Data in transit is protected via TLS 1.2+ encryption. Data at rest is secured using AES-256 bit encryption. We utilize Stripe for all financial transactions; we never see or store your full credit card number.

2. Notice at Collection: Information We Process

We collect the following categories of information to fulfill our service:

  • Identifiers: Name, email address, and physical mailing addresses (Sender and Recipient).
  • Mail Content (Automated Processing): We process uploaded PDF files. No human eyes see your documents. Processing is 100% automated via API handoff to our printing partner, Lob, Inc.
  • Internet Activity: IP addresses and browser types for fraud prevention and technical stability.

3. Data Sharing & Specific Third Parties

We do not "sell" your personal information. We disclose data only to the following "Service Providers" (as defined by CCPA) to complete your mailing:

  • Lob, Inc. (San Francisco, CA): For automated printing and USPS handoff.
  • Stripe, Inc. (South San Francisco, CA): For secure payment processing.
  • USPS: For final physical delivery.

4. Your Rights (California, Oregon, & National)

Regardless of your state of residence, we provide the following protections:

  • Right to Know & Access: You may request a report of what data we have collected and exactly which third parties received it.
  • Right to Delete: You may request that we delete your account and associated PDFs (which we already purge automatically after 30 days).
  • Right to Opt-Out / GPC: We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC). If your browser sends an opt-out signal, we will not share your data for non-essential purposes.
  • Right to Appeal: If we decline a data request, you have the right to appeal our decision by contacting us via email.

5. Data Minimization & Children

We delete PDF mail content 30 days after delivery confirmation. We do not knowingly collect information from individuals under the age of 16. Our service is intended for adult users handling professional and personal legal documentation.
